F20 with very few friends looking for a bestie

I don't know what it is like to have a social life. Also I am tired of folks telling me to put myself more out there, because it is tiring and I am scared of rejection once again. Nobody knows how hard is it to make friends in Korea especially when one isn't highly educated or isn't conventionally attractive. So you have to be sensitive about that, before you say anything like 'You gotta put yourself out there.' I just would like to have a support system that is all. Thank you.
