Should i get a mig switch for an oled?

As the question states i have an oled switch and want to play some games, i have zero care about online as my favorite games are dark souls and sonic so i don't think i'll get banned, while i would prefer a modded chip sadly there is no place to do that here legally as it's mostly shady ass backalley modders who may or may not brick your switch so i don't want to try it as the switch is expensive as hell and i won't be able to afford a new one.
