[Playstation][Xbox] help me find this game I lost

Hey all, I had this one game years back that I vaguely remember having a wide selection of characters that you could select from, and depending on what characters you picked, you could do different things in the levels, so you would have to change around who you were playing as to progress.

The one thing I can guarantee is that it wasn't a skylanders game or a lego game, but other than that, I don't have much more of a recollection.

Thank you so much in advance, this has been bugging me for years.
