"Two-bombers" on Heroic Gallywix

I have just pugged heroic Gallywix and I had multiple people claim you need to throw 2 bombs to the coils because they thought it would do less damage. First time I heard that I double-checked the guides and you absolutely do not do that. When I asked them why it would do less damage they just told me they were in a pug where they would always do 2 bombs.

In a few of my pulls I saw people actively running towards the coil with a bomb who where not assigned to and when we confronted them they genuinely thought it was the right way. They were adamant that the "2 bomb strat" was the way to go and you could not convince them otherwise. I feel like the "2 bomb theory" people are the flat earthers of wow.

And seeing as it was multiple people over the course of my pug I imagine others have encountered those aswell. Has this misinformation spread far and has anyone else had 2-bombers in their Gallywix groups?
