inguinal hernia on left side. Worried about ED (erectile dysfunction)

I have an inguinal hernia on my left side and for awhile (8 months or so). I have so much going on this year that I want to get my surgery done in December.

My question is, does the surgery at all give you risk at all with erectile dysfunction?

I take Viagra and Cialis for help currently. I am 41, married for 17 years with 3 kids.
