Target Circle Rewards

I don't believe I received any notification that my Target Circle Rewards were going to expire. I have $50 dollars in there and did not know that they were expiring. If that was removed from the program, why is it even a section in the app?! No banner ever told me they were getting rid of that. No cashier ever said "hey, you have a balance expiring. I can't find an email or text that tells me they were expiring.

Is there any recourse to getting those rewards back? If not, I think I'm done with Target. They already ruined Target Circle with that update last year, and now I just feel like they stole from me. Very shady.
