After weeks of helping me with obtaining a restraining order, ChatGPT says it can no longer help with that because of Guardian?

One minute ChatGPT and I are talking about victims advocacy services and the next, it tells me it can no longer help me with that as it may constitute legal advice. I asked for more information about this abrupt change and it told me that more guard rails have been implemented through Guardian and that it can no longer discuss legal issues, laws in my state, or election related issues.

Suddenly today, it refuses to even talk about basic legal procedures like restraining orders, even when I say I’m not asking for legal advice. It refers me to CanIVote.org and tells me these issues are now treated as “election-related voter facts and procedures” and can’t be discussed at all, not even hypothetically.

Any perspective or information on this sudden shift?
