So I was looking to build a drift car but if I build a drift car can I still race it and daily it? If so what are some good cars?

So I have started looking at cars to buy because I really like cars and building them myself but I researched and have not found one car that I can decide on. I need a sedan but I still want to build it. However I can't really drive a manual without stalling. I was thinking an an E46 but I was also looking at a Audi s4, Lexus is300, and a BMW 335i. Can you let me know any good cars for what I need.
