Super uncomfortable in class due to their beliefs

Hey guys, Catholic Christian here. As you all know the Catholic church has some VERY BAD reputation due to some really old anti-Christian propaganda and some other things that are true.

Anyway, I’m really uncomfortable in my school class cause I’m literally the only catholic there and the only thing they talk about is the Catholic church and its paper in history, I can’t help but feel uncomfortable when people start talking about the church manipulating scripture, money, etc… Is there any way I can debate this or have y’all got any advice if you’ve been in the same place as I am?

I am Spanish and lately there’s been a lot of Ultra-Right political movement which involves the Church and in history class my teacher and people are saying we’re homophobic and racist (WHEN HOW??).

I feel like a lot of people have been fed false doctrine cause the Catholic Church they talk about is definitely NOT the one I’m in
