Cat is jaundiced with high liver levels but very big appetite

We have an ultrasound scheduled later this week but everywhere I see online seems to point to liver problems causing LACK of appetite but my cat eats and eats and eats and begs for snacks and more food. All other labs are WNL just his liver labs are sky high. He’s still very bright eyed and active. No bladder or bowel changes. Only symptom is the jaundice and he’s lost some weight. We’re assuming the worst, cancer, but is there any chance it could be something else given the massive appetite?
