SEO in the Future of Video Content Platforms ?

With the increasing popularity of platforms like TikTok for search, I'm wondering about the implications for us as developers. A lot of our work revolves around building websites with content optimized for Google. Will the demand for this kind of work (content websited or optimize for seo) shrink, as users turn to more visual and AI-driven discovery? What are your thoughts on this, and how do you see this impacting your careers & web devs in general ?

I say this about TikTok because of an experience I had on a trip with friends: https://giannistolou.gr/blog/beyond-google-rethinking-seo-for-ai-and-visual-search-in-2025
