Blanket odors - please help!

I live in San Diego in a house with no AC/heat so windows need to be open often however when I do my blankets start to smell so bad.

For context I have 2 large dogs that I regularly bathe and I am constantly deep cleaning my washing machine. I have tried soaking my blankets to remove the odors as well. When they come out of the wash they smell totally fine but the second the windows open they reek again.

Please tell me there is a solution!
