Random IV push incompatibility question

Say I’m pushing a med incompatible w an abx piggyback that is running. I pause the drip, clamp the tubing above the closest port, and flush the line before pushing my med. Should I flush the line at a specific rate to avoid slamming the abx already in the line? Or is it okay to just flush quickly?
