Advice for a loser?
Hi, I’m 24F, I live with my mom, I’ve never had a full time job, I’ve dropped out of 4 colleges, I struggle to leave the house, and I haven’t interacted with humans (besides my mom) in about a month. I have friends but I can’t hangout with them without money/car. I try to find solutions, jobs won’t hire me anymore (I’ve probably quit about 14 jobs), I would like to go to college but I don’t have money (I’ve dropped out so much financial aide doesn’t cover much), i joined and quit the army to help pay for college. lol all of this sounds stupid and annoying. I think the root of the problem is anxiety tho that’s why I’m reaching out, since I’ve graduated high school, 2019, I’ve been struggling with anxiety of my appearance I struggled with cystic acne and it’s taken years to help heal it but now I pick at my skin and I have scars so I think I look like a drug addict and scare people by how my face looks. I’ve tried makeup and I think it just makes me look worse. But even on my “good” days I struggle to interact with people, they look at me with misunderstanding I feel like, I just want to help but they think I intentionally suck at either doing my job or think I am being disrespectful. It’s been almost 6yrs I’m on the verge of just giving up and being homeless, hitchhiking where ever I can. I’m tired of just being at this house and afraid of judgement and interaction. There’s a part of me that just wants nothing, I don’t want a house, car, husband, children, things. I want to be useful…doing what God made me to do, helping who ever I can. I can’t lie I feel weak spirited because why can’t I conform with the rest of the people around me, why do I struggle with this and what is it teaching me?
I guess I should just ask for advice on social anxiety, what can I do to help myself?
