What if we all aren’t headed in the right direction?

At the end of the most recent episode Van watches herself dead and the things that are happening to other people affected by what the show runners tell us is the WILDERNESS. Here’s the thing Van is dead literally she’s looking at a lifeless body and watching Shauna and Tai, how is that possible though then Vans younger self tells her that surviving was never the reward but as we see she is currently being made to watch the remaining surviving yellow jackets. What if this show is kind of like FROM there is a lot more to the supernatural than we think. Yeah they could be in an afterlife after dying but what if they aren’t what if it’s weirder than that what if they never really survived the crash and this is some sort of cosmic test or something? I’m still trying to wrap my head around it but Vans younger self tells her two key things I think

1. You are gonna be a hero (She did) one thing though is before dying Van exclaims to Melissa she “cannot be like that” meaning a cold blooded killer and she cries. Melissa says she can!!! Okay I wrapped my head around it after typing that.

2. Surviving was never the reward.

Have y’all noticed the Yellow Jackets all seem to be dying after doing the right thing in either an attempt to save others or do the right thing by the others. List:

1. Laura Lee : dies in plane after attempting to fly it to save them -side Shauna relying on coach after this is crazy.

2. Crystal/Kristen: dies while attempting to inform the others Misty broke the transponder

3. Javi: Dies saving Natalie

4. Coach: Dies while attempting to bring the girls back to a sense of morality which ultimately leads them to another winter because they killed the hiker due to it after

5. Jackie: Dies attempting to stop the girls from going down a rabbit hole and calling them out for SA Travis and trying to kill him too. They side with Shauna who fucked her bf and let her sleep outside.

6. Adult Natalie: Dies standing in the way of Misty killing someone.

7. Adult Van : Dies not letting her emotions get the best of her and succumbing to being a brutal murderer like the rest of the survivors.

So far this is all I’ve come up with in regards to my new theory.
