Has anyone asked for their DRP 2 acceptance to be rescinded/ cancelled?

Has anyone asked for their DRP 2 acceptance to be rescinded/ cancelled? I accidentally accepted the DRP and have emailed HR requesting cancelling response. Any chance of this going through or am I delusional ?
