Australia RMO job - long term query
Hi all, I have messaged on this forum before. I am an FY2 who applied for rads training (unsuccessful) with GP as a back up. I have enjoyed my GP placement so I am open to training as a GP long term. I have managed to get a GP offer (not in an ideal location in the UK) and also managed to obtain an australia RMO job. I am currently figuring out whether I should take the GP job or take the RMO job in australia and aim to get into GP job in australia after 1-2 years after obtaining PR. I am told that there are plentiful training positions there by external sources which are not too difficult to obtain. Nonetheless, I am worried if I go to australia and give up my GP offer whether I can get into GP there. I am also wondering if I CCT in 3 years and if things change in regards to transferring my CCT over to australia due to immigration changes whether this would mean I would be not able to take a job. Long term I wish to practise and move to australia for weather and general lifestyle changes . Anyone have any advice re this? Any help would be much appreciated.
