Built a pace calculator for interval and tempo planning—would love your feedback
Hey everyone—I’m a runner and indie dev, and I built an iOS app called PaceWise to help with pace planning for workouts. I was tired of doing mental math (or clicking through cluttered pace charts) every time I wanted to dial in reps or tempo efforts.
The app is focused on quick lookups for things like:
• Interval workouts (e.g., 8x400m at 5K pace)
• Tempo efforts or long intervals at race pace
• Treadmill speed conversions
• Split breakdowns by distance
It covers intervals from 200m to 2000m, and lets you save/reuse calculations for common sessions. It’s not a full coaching app—just a practical tool to support structured training.
It’s $4.99 on the App Store (no ads, no upsells). If you’re interested, you can check it out here:
Would really appreciate any feedback—especially if you’re doing speedwork or goal pace blocks in your training. What would make this more useful?
(Mods—understood if this isn’t the right place, happy to remove if needed.)
