NYC nurses- is it difficult to land a job with an ADN rather than a BSN?

I graduated with my ADN and have been planning on moving to NYC- I’ve been applying to positions and reaching out to recruiters and so far a couple have told me that they only consider BSN candidates, and I haven’t heard back from my applications. It’s starting to discourage me- I was planning on getting my BSN once I move and have a job secured but now I’m worried I won’t even be able to land one. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!
