They are hating us so bad right now. Are we cooked?
I'm sure you guys have noticed the uptick in r/usps_complaints which is disturbing, but it's reddit right? Whatever. BUT I'm seeing a huge surge irl of people not wanting to use usps over the last six months or more. I use a live auction app to buy plants and most of the sellers have already switched to other carriers. People in the comments often complain about usps delays or lost packages. I realized it was really bad when the other day I was watching the end of a live and the seller reminded everyone that he uses usps. He said that they could purchase a FedEx or UPS upgrade in the store, and immediately upgrade after upgrade started scrolling down the comments. 😭 I can't help but notice in my office that package volume is down from this time last year as well. My customers are mostly great, but I've been getting more inquiries and complaints from them too. I've even noticed my own packages via usps are traveling all over the country and delayed more often than ever before. If the goal was to turn our beloved post office into a target of ridicule so we'd have no support it seems to be working. It's evil!
