Lol, ppl are just calling any ship that isn’t 100% traditionally heteronormative girlbossxmalewife these days.

Like, certain characteristics that categorizes a ship as girlbossxmalewife doesn't apply to another ship apparently.Like Hercules and Megara from Disney is seen as girl boss malewife, where he’s ridiculously strong but very shy and she’s physically weaker but very bold/takes initiative  But somehow LoidxYor from SpyxFamily is also seen as girlbossxmalewife, even though it’s the same dynamic as Hercules and Megara, just gender flipped like Yor is very physically strong but super shy and Loid is physically weaker but is more smooth, take initiative more, not as shy. Like if being strong but shy makes Hercules a malewife and a sub, how does Yor being strong but shy make her seen as the more dominant one in her relationship lol.

People probably just label Loid as one because he does the cooking, (cooking and cleaning isn’t an inherently feminine skill it’s a life skill, and Yor sucks at it so Loid has to do it to keep the family alive lol. Just like female doctors shouldn’t be assumed to be nurses and should be referred to as just “doctors” instead of “female/lady doctor”)He should be referred to as a househusband. But it’s the 21st century, so if female doctors shouldn’t be assumed/referred to as nurses, then guys who does cooking should be labelled as househusband instead of male wife if we’re all trying to get rid of gender roles. Like if a person is the type to get all salty for female doctors getting assumed to be nurses instead of doctors based on the historical context that historically women were mostly nurses, they should be using the term househusband but if they don’t mind the assumptions, it’s okay to use the term male wife because they aren’t being a hypocrite about it.

And then there's some ships like FMA IzumiXSid where Sid is built like a bear and owns a shop and Izumi is a housewife(a badass one obviously,get called that dynamic even though it makes zero sense. Other mentions are DekuxOchako(more of a strong, shy nice guyXstrong, shy, nice girl vibe, they're basically the same person just opposite genders, 2 blushy 'lil tomatoes), Simon and Jeanette from Alvin and the Chipmunks, Ekko and Jinx, Temari and Shikamaru, Minato & Kushina, Hanako and Nene. Love all these ships, just something I noticed and if u don't agree with me, that's perfectly fine, but don't @ me, tell me I'm being oversensitive, too chill, stop taking things too seriously and being preachy and just scroll instead of posting a hate comment. Also I don't do arguements or care what u think just anonymously sharing my opinion since it's a free world and it's not hurting anybody
