Inconsistency
I just wanted to start off by saying I loved this season, probably was my favorite. HOWEVER and this may be controversial, doesn’t it drive yall crazy how certain details are really deep, and then other things just aren’t and they put it in there just because? I get a red herring but it’s aggravating when there’s so much development to the characters, and then they do something “just because” like that drives me crazy in the interviews. When it could be driven by something so much deeper, like this season was about spirituality and like not cleaning out the blender “just because” or Mook being a side character with no real purpose kind of fell flat for me when there were so many deep moments that had symbolism to it. Or no real reason that Rick’s dad didn’t say who he was or why he chose to have some children, and rick was no one to him. Especially when there were so many intense moments (incest for crying out loud) most people would never go there, the resolution to that was just ehh. I wish we could have gotten more of the aftermath from that. I think I may just have really high expectations from having read intense theories this whole season that really would have added even more skin & bones. I get no resolution being a theme but still we could have seen more turmoil and that be the ending, that sometimes there is nothing resolved but the problems still are there. Just didn’t feel wrapped up as much as it could have I guess
