AE2: How do I further parallelize my autocrafting?
I’ve noticed AE2 seems to be splitting up the autocrafting in a weird way, but I’m hoping it’s bc I’m doing something wrong. Say I need to make 3000 of the gold circuits. It’ll send both silicon and gold blocks to my circuit slicers, but then once it has cut some it doesn’t immediately send those components to the crystal assemblers. It’ll wait for all 3000 silicon and gold bits to finish being sent through the circuit slicer and THEN it’ll start assembling the full circuits. This is a huge waste of time. Assembling the circuits is done in a separate machine. There’s no reason it can’t be done at the same time that the circuit slicer is running (once there’s enough materials built up to actually complete a craft).
I know it’s not a lack of crafting co-processors because I use a giant crafting cpu made of at least 60 mega co-processors, which each function as 4 regular co-processors. Is there something else I’m doing wrong? Or is this just how AE2 works? I suppose instead of making the circuit slicers export back to the pattern provider I could have them sent to a subnet that is set to just constantly craft circuits it has the materials for, but I’d really like to avoid that if possible.
