Are you more likely to give money to a panhandler who asks for beer money or struggle money?

I saw a guy on the road once that said "I honestly want money for beer." and ice been turned down when handing people water when they said "Anything helps."

Now I'm not a promoter of alcohol, but I'd rather give money to someone who's telling the truth than someone lying to me and getting upset that I was "anything helps"ing.
