Kobo Aura One (like iPad Mini) + external bottle sling?

I would like to carry a Contigo West Loop and an Aura One (very similar size to the iPad mini) I was watching this video on the Hydroflask Slingback Bottle Pack and it's not great https://youtu.be/IQH7R2LAzlo

I can't find a review on the Camelback Arete Sling 8 whether it would fit the 24oz West Loop.

Any other ideas? Maybe someone who has the Arete could comment on the watter bottle pocket size?
