USDA - Told that opting-in to DRP will buy us extra time to decide

Over and over in the last week, we’ve been told to just hit “accept” for the DRP if there’s even the slightest chance that we are considering it, because it gives us an extra week-ish (time between opt-in and receiving the agreement + 7 day window to rescind participation) to decide if it’s really what we want to do. This just initially inflates the number of employees who are taking it, when really, we are being told we still have time to back out. Feels weird.
