are there any telltale signs a sub isnt going to send?

so i don't really have any complaints. i dont mind a few chats before sends to establish a place to build a relationship, but sometimes i just cannot tell what are initial scam messages like bots or what are ppl just saying hi lmfao 😭 curious if any of u have signs u notice and ignore? :3
