Dark Sun, I'd love to hear some opinions of the world.

I'm joining an ongoing campaign at lvl 5 in Dark Sun. I've never really played with encumberance and having to remember to eat and drink and such. This is going to be a deeper RP than ever before, and I'm curious to know what some of you think of Dark Sun, as a whole. We are playing tonight when I get off of work.
