Nuggets fire Malone / Jokic incoming?

Seems like the nuggets are on Mavericks/grizzlies level of dysfunction.

If I’m Stone, I’m gunning for a summer trade for Jokic.

Outgoing: Sengun, Sheppard, Whitmore, Tate (s&t) + 3 frps

Incoming: Jokic

Hear me out. We obviously know what the Rockets are getting in Jokic. 5 years of GOAT level play. We’d be starting FVV, JG, Amen, Brooks, and Jokic. Bench of Tari, Bari, Adams. That is an absolutely elite 8 man rotation. Immediate championship contenders.

Nuggets get baby Jokic, baby Mark Price, baby JR smith, and three really solid first round picks from phoenix. They get to rebuild with elite building blocks. They would field a starting lineup of Murray, Braun, MPj, Gordon, Sengun. Bench of westbrook, whitmore, reed, watson. Yeah starting lineup gets weaker but they get a much deeper quality bench. And lets not forget they get 3 solid first rd picks if they decide to trade for an additional star/starter.

Who says no? Obviously a functional Denver FO. But it seems at this point they arent functional.
