Driver head is cracked, is buying a new one essential?
For context, I bought my first set of clubs late May '24. It's the Callaway Strata Ultimate set, my second time at the range the hozel on my driver cracked and the head was hanging on by a thread (shop said this is common with box sets). Got a replacement driver from another Strata set the next day and it worked fine the rest of the season.
This year i noticed what I thought was chipped paint turned out to be a crack in the head.
Should I continue using it until it dies? Buy used? Buy new? I'm frustrated with the 12° loft, it shoots my drives a bit higher than I want them - and I dont want to inadvertently teach myself to hit worm burners.
Any advice is welcome. I've been looking at the Cobra LTDx MAX recently
