2019 Ram 1500 – Fuel level issue, code P1B13-00, and steering angle sensor calibration – need help!
Hey everyone! I recently bought a 2019 Ram 1500 from Copart and shipped it over to Poland. The truck is mostly in great shape, but I’ve run into two issues I could really use some help with:
-
Fuel level reading problem: When I fill the tank up completely, everything works fine and the gauge shows full. But once it drops to about half a tank, the gauge suddenly drops to zero and the range shows “0 miles to empty.” The truck keeps running normally, so there is definitely fuel in the tank – but I lose all reading below that halfway point. Has anyone dealt with this before? Could it be a stuck float, a sensor issue, or something that needs recalibration?
-
Code P1B13-00 + steering angle sensor calibration: I’m also getting a P1B13-00 error code, but I can’t seem to find a clear explanation of what it means. On top of that, I’m being told the steering angle sensor needs calibration. Is there any way to do this without going to the dealership? I have tools like AlfaOBD and Appcar DiagFCA – can it be done using one of those?
Any advice or suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!
