Question Regarding SI Medical For OSA
For context, I was diagnosed with mild obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and went to my AME to have a first class medical exam done in April of 2024. My application was unfortunately sent to OKC for 8 months, then I received my special issuance first class medical in January of 2025.
Part of my special issuance is having a yearly first class medical exam done with my AME. As I am preparing to go in this month, would anyone know what the likelihood is of me being cleared on the spot instead of having to go through the initial process of waiting 8 months to hear back?
For reference I have my OSA recertification document stating my treatment is effective along with my CPAP usage report demonstrating compliance of treatment.
