How to distance from homophobic “friends”

Met these “friends” at the start of college but I have slowly realised that they are incredibly homophobic but I have spent plenty of time with them and annoyingly they are a part of my routine now but it’s getting to my limits and I really need to distance myself from them because I cannot handle it anymore but I’m the minority among them so confrontation isn’t the route I want to go with and I haven’t really had to distance myself from anyone before so really need advice on how to go about that considering they are “close” to me and I would bump into them in college a lot too
