Im interested in the game and have a few questions.

How does the game work? Is it like a hollow knight progression? Runs like in isaac? Do you unlock different abilities, metroidvania like? Is there combat or just running away from enemies? I saw that in the downpour dlc, you can choose characters. How does that work? Can you change then during the game? Are there quests? NPCs? I’m just confused, from the little I’ve seen from the steam page. Also, why do a lot of people who reviewed the game on steam have hundreds hours in the game? Is it that long, or do they just replay it? Is there replayability value, besides game just being good?
