Looking for a comic series

I read a limited series a few years ago I really enjoyed but I cannot recall the title. I thought it was The Signal but I'm probably wrong based on googling it. In the series aliens attack and are at the technological level of pretty much being invincible, but genetically modified humans with at least Captain America level abilities are deployed to fight them. I remember one fight involved a motorcycle, and the final battle the alien taunting the human soldier till he is finished off. I know it's not a lot to go on, but I think the creator was independent and I'd like to look up his other work too
