Tryna buy a new laptop. Need help

Okay so i need a new laptop. Obviously. Looking to buy something second hand so its cheaper (dont have a job, but dad’s helping me pay as long as i use my money to cover what i can.) i will NOT be buying an MSI. MSI was my last brand. It was i horror story. Didnt work right when i bought it. Took it back and they said it was fine. Four years later, it will no longer charge (its actually been doing that the whole time, but now it just stopped turning on.) (Tldr: low budget, msi fucked me over, dont suggest it.)

i dont trust myself to buy one on my own, so im looking for more experienced buyers to help me out:)
