Writing a LHOTP paper, need help with finding Evidence

Hi everyone! I’m currently writing a paper for one of my college classes about how I believe Laura Ingalls Wilder's writings support traditional gender roles while also emphasizing what an amazing female lead she is/was in the books.

Basically, what I’m looking for is evidence from any specific "Little House" book that shows an example of how traditional gender roles are broken, as well as how they are reinforced.

I know this is a longshot but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas.
