I got my wisdom teeth out the morning of 3/28 and I’ve been following all the instructions and taking really good care of the holes. The pain went away a few days ago completely. When I went back for a checkup after a week, they said everything looked good and was healing great.
Yesterday I noticed some pain in my back left bottom molar when I was chewing. I figured it was normal and ignored it. Today I woke up with severe pain in that area when I bite down. It’s like a stabbing pain that happens right after I stop biting down, which then fades into an achy pain after a few seconds. I’m worried it might be dry socket or maybe a cavity? But I take really good care of my teeth because I have extreme anxiety about my oral hygiene.
I tried my best with the pictures but they’re not very good/came out blurry, if more are needed let me know and I’ll try to find a better camera and get someone else to help take the pictures.
Any answers are greatly appreciated, I just need to soothe my anxiety. Thanks :)
(Also, I’ve been irrigating the bottom holes only (I was told to only do the bottom ones) with chlorhexadine mouthwash. I don’t smoke or drink (I’m underage) and I’ve been rinsing my mouth out after all meals. I brush twice a day and floss at night. Idk how much information is needed but I wanted to add all that for extra info.)
