If I save every original lot in the game (and I mean every one, because I have every world) to my gallery, will my game run so slow?

Okay basically, I love Sims and I have had this dream of filling every lot with Sims I’ve made, making them NPCs, and then playing a single household with all my lovelies around me. I love updating the original lots but sometimes, I’ll want the original back on a save and I can’t find it in the gallery. I was thinking of downloading EVERY SINGLE LOT to my gallery, but would that slow my game down too much? Am I totally crazy? Does this make any sense? Please help lol
