Difficulty analyzing IHC

I have a bunch of slides that I’m trying to analyze but I’m not sure if my results are really valid. I’m looking at intensity and counts but I’m curious if there’s a way to “normalize” results. Should I just do 1 big batch of staining so that intensity will be more normal across the board and allow for comparison. How do you typically make sure your results are valid with IHC and IF given that it can vary so much? Appreciate any insight.
