Dating apps kinda broke me. I’m building something better—need your help (5 min survey + $100 Amazon gift card raffle)

Hey Reddit 👋

So here’s the deal - I’ve been on and off dating apps for years, and honestly.... they’ve left me feeling more burnt out than connected.

The usual trend: have an amazing conversation for a week… then they vanish or sometimes you wait forever over here genuinely investing time into one person - while they’re out shopping, swiping through five others like it's a dating buffet. 😵‍💫

At some point, I thought - why do they all work this way? Why is it all about swiping, chasing, and pretending to be someone else?

That’s when I started building a new kind of dating app—one that encourages real connections instead of dopamine loops. But I don’t want to build it in a bubble. I need your help.

💬 Here’s a quick (5-min) anonymous survey:

No spam. Just real research. I’ll also share back what I learn if you’re curious.
Thanks in advance 🙏 and feel free to roast dating apps (or share your own horror stories) in the comments—I’m here for it.
