Image brightness not capturing correctly

I’ve noticed over the past few months that an image will show up brighter and more accurate while in the camera app than the actually captured image or video save as. I can’t seem to find any solution online. Has anyone else experienced this? Captured images and videos just sometimes look less saturated and darker.
