What is the uk drinking cultare like?

!5 - Google it / research yourself

I have an English project I need to do for tomorrow about the drinking culture in the UK. I would love to get some answers to my questions from people who have lived or are living in the UK.  English is not my first language so I apologize for any mistakes in advance. Here are some of the main questions I have:

At what age do teenagers start drinking in the UK? And I don't mean legally, cause that is obvious.

What are pubs like?  I've been to the UK a few times, but all of them when I was underage so I couldn't go.

Do people really drink a lot and/or a daily basis? I am not sure whether it's a myth or not. But is it normal for people to go out and get black out drunk?

What alcohol is most commonly drunk? I am gonna guess beer, but I might be very off.

Do people usually get aggressive when they drink? Do they start fights?

If you've lived outside of the UK, how can you compare the drinking cultures in both countries?

Thanks for the answers in advance.
