New to birdwatching
Hi found a birds nest (I believe chirping sparrows) in the wreath on the front door. We are avoiding the door area to give her privacy -she’s already laid four eggs. Is there anything we can do to help without interfering besides just giving her space? I read having a bird feeder nearby can help, but I don’t want it too close, in case it attracts predators. So is a bird feeder helpful and safe to have? If so, how far should it be from her nest? If not, I’ll just keep minding my business. Also would putting up a camera be disturbing for her? Would privacy film on the door window help give her more privacy and allow her to not fly away every time someone is in the hallway?
