Advice please

I’d love your insight. I started a new position a few weeks ago, but quickly realized it’s not the right path for me. I transitioned from practicing law to try something different in insurance, but I miss the legal world. I’ve accepted a new opportunity back in law that begins in three weeks and I’m truly looking forward to it. I’d appreciate any advice on how to step away from my current role professionally and respectfully.
