Does your child inherit your current genes?

If you were an ugly duckling as a child but had a glow up, will your child look like grown up version of you? I don’t know how to phrase this. Like sure if you had a nose job, your child might inherit your old nose because that’s genetic… what about other features that naturally glow up? How does your body decide which version of yourself to pass down? Is it random? I’m thinking of this sober btw!! I’m on a bus.
