Leaving a job without a 2 weeks notice or a shorter notice?

I hate my job so much. I’m in customer service. I work at a very busy hospital up front and I’m constantly having to give people rude people directions all day. This is a new job I started 3 months ago, half ass training they given me, not even a tour of the hospital but I’m expected to know where everything is as if I’m a Google naps.

I’ve been mistreated at my job by fellow coworkers not just random people that walk in here all confused. I’ve spoken to my manager now 3 times about mistreatment by others and it doesn’t seem to get addressed at all. Not to mention my PTO is nonexistent. I’ve barley took any off days and I don’t have any PTO, they use OUR PTO when the department I work for in my hospital is closed like why are you guys stealing my PTO for that?? That doesn’t even make sense.

I’m over it. I have a last round of interview tomorrow and I’m hoping to get this new job tomorrow. I have a really good feeling about this one.

My current job has done me so wrong I haven’t even gone into the details about it. I just don’t have all day. Anyways I’m thinking of just giving a few days notice out of spite. Also because I need the extra break from this shitty job I’ve had to endure. We’re also moving and I need to do a lot of shit before I start a new job.

I’m just wondering has anyone ever left a job leaving a shorter notice than a 2 week notice? Or maybe even quit on the spot?

It may sound harsh because they are severely understaffed. They had nurses and techs working my front desk position for 3 months before they hired me. But they are definitely understaffed for a reason….
