NIPT test for 9 wks 4 days?
I've had a prior Trisomy 18 loss for context. I had a "nurse call" after my first ultrasound where they review all your "important dates"/any referrals you need/review your history again etc. Durning that talk, the nurse brought up that I was clear to go in for my NIPT bloodwork as early as the 7th. With my prior history, I wanted to go in asap. So, I made the 30 minute drive (on my birthday lol) and was told by the person doing the draw that I couldn't because I was 9 wks 4 days. I explained I just had had my nurse's call prior/my history. She spoke to another nurse and it's in my file as I could do it as early as the 7th. The woman who did the draw explained that the test may fail and I'll have to come back in. I'm fine with that. I'm just hopeful to have peace of mind sooner than later. I'm a nervous wreck over this pregnancy.
So, my question is, I know standardly it is 10 weeks for the test (at least now I do). Could it be because the baby by measurements was "ahead" by 4 days, but they went on the dating of my last period? I am hoping someone else has had a similar experience.
