how to cover black eye with makeup?

i have a pretty nasty bruise on my right eye that has been really tricky to conceal. it’s on my lid as well as my undereye and is a variety of colors; blue, purple, yellow, which makes it impossible for me to color correct.

i’m in the military so i can’t cover it with any kind of bold eyeshadow or anything, it has to look natural. i’ve been using NYX concealer serum which has worked pretty well but it leaves my eye kind of looking greyish? i set it with eyeshadow that is close to my skin tone but it made it look a lot less natural and also didn’t last all day.

do you guys have any product recommendations or techniques i can use? thanks for the help
