MSI B650 Tomahawk w/AMD 7800x3D?

New builder question. I heard good things about MSI boards and received my first build’s components today. Pairing the MSI Mag B650 Tomahawk with the Ryzen 7800x3d & 7900 xtx. I saw a flag on the pcpartpicker list stating the Tomahawk is compatible with my board but that I had to update the BIOS. Can anyone verify?

I have a couple build vids and won’t be beginning until this weekend but wanted to see if anyone can confirm these two work well together and that I will have to flash/update the BIOS on my board BEFORE seating my processor. Thanks in advance and sorry for the newb question.
